How To Make Apple Cupcakes
Recipe 1
Ingredients
- 250 g Apples
- 2 tsp Lime Juice
- 1 cup Flour
- A pinch of Salt
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 large Egg
- 1/3 cup Oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- ½ cup Jaggery Powder
- 1\3 cup Raisins
- 1\3 cup Walnuts (chopped)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grate the apples.
- Mix the grated apples with lime juice.
- Sieve together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- Beat egg, oil, vanilla essence and jaggery powder together.
- Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Add the grated apples to the flour batter.
- Stir in walnuts and raisins.
- Pour the batter into greased cupcake molds.
- Bake the cupcakes for 25 to 30 minutes.

- 2 cups Apples (grated, skin on)
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Butter
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Nutmeg
- ½ tsp Cloves (ground)
- 3½ cups Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake papers.
- Combine together apples, sugar, water, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a large saucepan.
- Boil the mixture and remove from heat.
- Cool the mixture and add in flour and baking soda.
- Fill the cupcake papers with the batter 2/3 fill.
- Bake the cupcakes for about 20 minutes until the cupcakes spring back when touched in the center.
