A Thanksgiving Prayer
By Glenda Adams
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please make us an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy. As we pray together today, let us remember that things don't happen over night.
Let us not forget the struggles we all are going thru in this movement for economic injustice.
Even if frustration may set in; Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Amen.
