Mother's Day is a special day to make your mother feel special. So, make her day extra special by planning a brunch for her. Since she makes food for the family on daily basis, an already made brunch will surely surprise her. Let her start her day at peace, without any worry to do the domestic chores. If she goes for a morning walk, make everything before she comes back. Set the table and let her enjoy the day. - In case your Mom is an early riser, then ensure you get up and working before she gets up. It will spoil your entire plan if she is in the kitchen before you.
- If you can't manage everything on your own, involve your siblings, father, and grandparents as well. Your mother does everything for the family; you can take out at least one day from your schedule for her.
- While preparing food, don't make much noise as most of the mothers get up quickly at noise.
- Make sure to know her favorite dishes. If you don't know the recipe of her favorite dish, arrange for the recipes and all the necessary ingredients for them in advance. Otherwise, the plan will get haphazard.
- Presentation of the food is as important as its taste. Take out the best cutlery in the house and arrange it properly on the dining table. Do not forget to put a napkin alongside. Buy some fresh flowers in the morning and put them in the center of the table. Before serving the brunch, make sure that the dining room as well as the dining table is sparkling.
- When she gets up, gift her nice bouquet of her favorite flowers. Or, you can gift her something of her interest like jewelry, clothes, accessories, cosmetics, etc. It will be the perfect start to the special day for your mother. Don't forget to click pictures while the family enjoys such moments of togetherness.
- You can also plan brunch in bed. If you've less time, then you can serve muffins, fresh fruits, coffee, juice, etc, on a tray. Don't forget to put flowers and small gifts along. Now, let her relax.
- Or else, what you can do is, plan an outing for her that could be to a church, park or any nearby place in the morning. When she come back home, surprise her with a full-fledged brunch which may consist of snacks, juices, cakes, drinks, dishes or any of her favorite food items. This brunch would be absolutely refreshing for her.
