Halloween is the day to engage in merriment, have fun and tease the people around you. After all, it is the only day on which no one will scold you or be angry with you, for playing pranks on them. Halloween is also the day to catch up with old friends, by arranging parties or get-togethers. You can also get in touch with people who are away from you, on this day, by sending them cards, be it through mail or the internet. Do make sure to personalize the card before sending it, by writing some nice Halloween poems and wishes therein. If you need any help in this regard, we are here completely at your service.
Short Halloween Poems
Five Little Pumpkin Sitting On A Gate
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one said,
"Oh my, it's getting late."
The second one said,
"But we don't care."
The third one said,
"I see witches in the air."
The fourth one said,
"Let's run, and run, and run."
The fifth one said,
"Get ready for some fun."
Then whoosh went the wind,
And out went the lights,
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

Spooks
There's a goblin at my window,
A monster by my door.
The pumpkin at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.
There's a ghost who haunts my bedroom,
A witch whose face is green.
They used to be my family,
Till they dressed for Halloween.

Walk Into My Parlor
"Will you walk into my parlor?"
Said the spider to the fly;
"Tis the prettiest little parlor that you ever did spy.
The way into my parlor is up a winding stair,
And i have many curious things to show when you are there."
"Oh no, no!" said the little fly,
"To ask me is in vain;
For who goes up your winding stair
Can never come down again."

Halloween Magic
A bald-headed ghost
Drank some witches' brew
And on top of his head
A strange thing grew.
It was pointed and tall
And black as a bat
With stringy long hair
Where his head was flat.
The sad little ghost
Didn't want any hair
Or a black pointed hat
So he said, "Witch beware!"
Then he chanted some words
With a spell-casting switch
And gave Halloween Night
A bald-headed witch!!

Halloween
Tonight is the night
When dead leaves fly
Like witches on switches
Across the sky,
When elf and sprite
Flit through the night
On a moony sheen.
Tonight is the night
When leaves make a sound
Like a gnome in his home
Under the ground,
When spooks and trolls
Creep out of holes
Mossy and green.
Tonight is the night
When pumpkins stare
Through sheaves and leaves
Everywhere,
When ghouls and ghost
And goblin host
Dance round their queen.
It's Halloween.
