How To Make Grandparents Day Cards
If you ever chanced to glance at a homemade card, there is a good chance that you must have marveled at its beauty. You might also have wondered and wished that you too could make your own greeting cards. Well, there is no reason to feel disappointed at that as making cards by yourself is no rocket-science. However, if cards made by others can evoke such awe from you, then imagine how much the others would be awed to receive homemade greetings made and designed by none but you! In fact, making cards is becoming more popular, especially among children, and now it is a novelty to send handmade greeting cards. This is because such cards carry a lot more sentimental value than shop-bought greeting cards. Do not worry if the card ends up looking pretty or not, or how others would find it. What is more important is that you have put in your efforts and genuine feelings to make it. The efforts and thoughts that go into making them enhance their appeal all the more. No wonder why grandparents cherish them so much! The information below will be helpful to you if you intend to prepare grandparents day cards.

Homemade Card Idea - 1
Things you will need
- Card stock or construction paper
- Scissors or pinking shears
- Markers or crayons
- Googly eyes
- Glue
How To Make The Card
- To begin with, fold the piece of paper in half.
- Next, you need to delineate the shape of a cat on the folded paper. While drawing the figure, make sure that the fag end of its tail and both ears stretch out to the fold and go along for at least a quarter of an inch. This is because this is where the front and back will be attached to each other.
- Take the scissors and cut out the cat while making sure that there are areas of the fold that you leave uncut. This is done to keep the front and back of the card to be attached to each other.
- Take the marker or crayon and draw the facial features of the cat such as the eyes, nose and whiskers. To give a cute look to it you can stick the googly eyes.
- Dedicate this card to your grandparents by write a loving message for them in the inside of the card.
