Children's Day has been celebrated on the 14th of November every year in India for many decades now. The day also marks the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was also one of the eminent leaders of the Indian freedom struggle. The day not only commemorates the importance of children in society, but also pays a tribute to Pt. Nehru and his immense love for children.
