Shengdana Chikki
- 1 cup Groundnuts (Moongfali), skinned, roasted, and pounded roughly
- ¾ cup Sticky Jaggery (Gur)
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
Method
- Take a large saucepan and add ½ cup water in it.
- Place it on medium flame and add jaggery.
- Boil the syrup till it forms a thick consistency.
- Test the consistency by dropping a little syrup in water, the syrup should turn hard.
- Add groundnuts and mix well. Remove from heat.
