Halloween party is nothing without scary effects. Tombstones and other Halloween monuments may scare very young children but older children and adults need much more to really scare them and make them feel that the your house or graveyard is haunted. This Halloween night, create a fright they will always remember by using at least a dozen realistic-looking and good quality tombstones of different styles. Stretchable cobwebs or Cobweb Spinner is easily available in the stores during Halloween and web with plastic spiders can practically make anything look ghoulish and repulsive. You can put fake crows, ravens, owls and vultures in the trees in your backyard or your windowsill.
Spooky props and decorations such as ghosts and skeletons can be hung from tree limbs and can be illuminated with black light hidden somewhere to make the atmosphere even more weird. You can hang plastic bats hung upside down from your ceiling using lightweight fishing line. A skeleton lying above a tombstone or sitting or standing with its support, with its head turned at an angle as if he is looking straight at you, makes our graveyard creepier. Another idea is to have one or two skeletons sit comfortably a patio style bench on your deck. Put Spanish moss on some tombstones, cobwebs on another, scatter leaves on some other tombstones and twigs and branches on yet others. Silk vines can make your tombstones look overgrown but make sure that you do not overdo anything.
