Vishwakarma Puja SMS

Vishwakarma Puja is a festival celebrated mostly by craftsmen and artisans. This is so because Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the crafts master of the gods and it is believed that He is the one who designed and built the palaces, vehicles and weapons of the gods. He designed the heaven and the weapon of Lord Indra, the Vajra. On this day, the craftsmen put their tool in front of the idol of Vishwakarma and worship Him; they do not work on this day to show their devotion towards Lord Vishwakarma. All factories and institutions are closed on this occasion and instead of work Puja takes place in the factories in the morning.
