Valentine decorations need not be expensive. They key to decorating for
Valentine party is to give your guests an atmosphere of fun and romance.
Everything that is heart-shaped and is red in color is deemed perfect
for a Valentine's Day party. Red heart-shaped balloons and confetti, red
table napkins with heart embroidered in gold and heart-shaped candies
make a perfect table setting for Valentine parties. Aromatherapy and
floating candles for candlelight dinners and soft music, preferably the
popular love songs, add to the party mood.
Red heart-shaped candles can be used as votives while cupids can be
attached to centerpieces, gift wraps, party favor packs and on top of
the Valentine's Day cake. You can use tablecloths and sofas covered
printed with hearts and "I Love You" or "Be My Valentine"
all over. Use lots of glitter to decorate heart-shaped candy boxes and
use it as the centerpiece for your table. You can also use a floral
basket adorned with red pom-poms and gold foil. A cupid attached with
helium balloons can be attached firmly to the table as an unusual
centerpiece or you can just keep him afloat throughout the party for a
special touch.
Red, white and pink crepe paper can be used to do some cheap but
innovative decorations. Chocolate roses as the centerpiece of the table
look quite delicious. For a kids Valentine party, you can mark out the
path for the venue using heart-shaped smilies and red balloons to
decorate the venue itself. You can even get heart-shaped lights for
Valentine parties. Alternatively, you can use dim red lighting for adult
romantic parties. Candies in decorative cups make interesting decorative
items and party favors too. Use long-stepped roses as flowers for the
centerpiece or opt for bunch of heart-shaped balloons instead of
bouquets to decorate party halls.
