english Movie Good Will Hunting
The protagonist of the movie, Will Hunting, played by Matt Damon, is 20 year old who works as a janitor at MIT, Boston even though he is gifted with a super sharp mind and has the ability of solving complex mathematical problems. During his spare time, he hangs out with his friends Chuckie Sullivan, Morgan O'Mally and Billy McBride. Will also shares a special friendship with Skylar, played by Minnie Driver, a student from Harvard University. Raised in South Boston and a victim of child abuse, Will only blames himself for his unhappy childhood. Feeling helpless, he resorts to self denial and destruction.

In a graduate class, when Professor Gerald Lambeau, played by Stellan Skarsgard, who is a combinatorialist and field medalist, puts up a difficult mathematical problem to solve, Will is seen solving the problem on the board. At first Professor Gerald shoos away Will thinking that he is ruining the board. However, Professor Gerald soon realizes that Will has solved the complex mathematical problem correctly which he had himself taken almost two years to solve. He decides to trace Will. On the other hand, Will is charged with assaulting a youth who had tormented him in his childhood. During the trial, Professor Gerald gives Will the option of either joining him at the Mathematics department to study under him and agreeing to see a psychotherapist or serving a prison term. Will chooses the former, although he believes that he does not need psychotherapy. After five psychotherapists fail in their attempts to make progress with Will's therapy session, Professor Gerald finally arranges psychotherapist Sean Maguire, his college friend whom he grew up with, in South Boston as Will's psychotherapist.

In contrast to the other five therapists, Sean is able to strike a chord with Will after few unpleasant defensive stances by Will. On one occasion, Will sees a painting by Sean and interprets that it shows repressed feelings and remorse over the untimely death of his wife. Sean gets upset and takes on Will by throat. Will then leaves but later Sean considers Will's case as a challenge and asks Professor Gerald to get Will back for the therapy session. Will learns that Sean too had difficult past and was in fact, quite struck by Sean's love story and the eventual death of his wife. This draws him to re-look at his own relationship with Skylar. He tells Skylar that he was an orphan and suffered abuse throughout his childhood, but Skylar maintains that she still loves him and asks him to join her in California where she is pursuing her studies. Will refuses to accept her offer and stays behind.

Meanwhile, Professor Gerald sets high expectations on Will and arranges him to attend job interviews only to be scorned at and taken lightly by Will. In this process, Sean and Professor Gerald often quarreled with each other. At one point, Will sees the verbal fight between his two friends over his future and realizes that there is more to what he has thought out to be and gains trust in Sean and his mentor. During therapy session, Sean convinces Will that the abuse he suffered during childhood was not his fault. Will breaks down and decides to move on. Sean mends his friendship with Professor Gerald after he successfully helps Will in dissolving his problems and sets out on a long holiday to travel around the world. Will's friends gift him a Chevrolet Novo for his 21st birthday and he drives to California to reunite with Skylar, putting aside his rewarding corporate job offer.
