Hanukkah Spicy Applesauce Recipe

• 1 (24-ounce) jar applesauce
• 1 (6-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1/2-teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/8-teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/8-teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/8-teaspoon ground cloves
• 2 tablespoons rum (optional)

• In a pan, put applesauce and crushed pineapple and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
• Add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and rum (optional). Stir well and serve hot.
